How to create a playlist
In this section you will learn how to create a new playlist in the Tunio dashboard. A playlist lets you automatically form a music stream based on selected parameters: genres, BPM, vocals, source, and other settings.
Open the “Playlists” section
In the side menu select the “Playlists” item. The page will show a list of existing playlists.
Click the “Create playlist” button
The button is located at the top of the page. After clicking, a form for creating a new playlist will open.
Enter the playlist name
In the “Playlist name” field enter any convenient name. This field is required.
Choose the playlist type
The system supports different playlist types. By default “Dynamic” is available — it automatically picks music according to the given parameters. “Static” — a fixed playlist that will be composed of music and jingles preserving the order.
Select the music type
Choose the source of music generation. For example, “AI” — music created using artificial intelligence.
Choose the catalog source
In the “Source” field specify where the tracks will be selected from. Typically “Tunio catalog” is used.
Configure music parameters
Fill in additional fields to refine the selection: • Genres — select one or several music genres that will play in the broadcast. • BPM from / to — specify the desired tempo range. • Vocal type — music with vocals, without vocals, or mixed. • Music languages — choose the languages of the tracks.
Add an intro (optional)
If you want an intro to play before each music block, click “Select intro asset” and upload the required file.
Save the playlist
After filling all parameters click the “Create” button. The new playlist will appear in the list and will be available for use in the broadcast.
Playlist created! Now you can include it in the schedule.
